Another wonderful comedy by Norm Foster, "The Love List" was directed by Dan See. Friends Leon and Bill write up a list of qualities defining the perfect woman and, much to their surprise, she appears. This hilarious and thought-provoking play examines the neverending quest for perfection in a mate.

Baggage

A comedy by Sam Bobrick

The story focuses on two dysfunctional singles (Phyllis Novak and Bradley Naughton), who are both trying to recover from bad relationships. When their luggage is mixed up at the airport, Bradley attempts to return Phyllis' bag and retrieve his own. While their obvious personality differences make any smooth relationship unlikely, they discover that chemistry which attracts often makes no sense.

In January 2016, Paladin presented its musical revue called “Gershwin, Porter, Kern and More,” highlighting the vocal talents of some of the area's finest singers. The revue offered standards as well as some of the composers' favorites and lesser known numbers. Patrick Williams staged the revue, including live musical accompaniment.

It's a fish out of water story that becomes a quirky and hilarious fish IN the water story, complete with romance and broken hearts.

The Melville Boys

A Dramatic Comedy by Norm Foster

“The Melville Boys," played off Broadway and began Foster's road to fame as a playwright. Two brothers take time off from their humdrum jobs to spend a weekend at a cabin owned by relatives. This dramatic comedy examines family life with all its responsibilities and associated difficulties.    


Paladin Productions' annual musical revue focused this year on songs written and sung through the decades for the sweetest person in lives. The best local talent in the Aiken area had everyone swooning and smiling.

A woman visits a dying man she feels she hurt years ago. Two men rob a house and discover a shocking secret. An aging rock star is confronted by a groupie. An accident-prone stripper meets with her no-nonsense boss. A woman leaving her husband lectures those moving her furniture on the proper way to treat a lady. Each scene is connected in this laugh filled comedy.

Val agrees to meet Andy after answering his personal ad in the newspaper. Nina and Matt are coaxed into joining their friends for support. High romance and contagious laughter are the result.
